Heritance® Hardwood Shutters
Our 100% hardwood shutters are made from poplar or basswood construction. Hunter Douglas partners with the Arbor Day Foundation® so that for every Heritance® shutter purchased, Hunter Douglas donates to the Arbor Day Foundation. Our Heritance® Hardwood Shutter is crafted with high-quality Truemill® dovetail construction, inspired by the joining process used in only the highest-quality custom furniture. Additionally, they come with a multiple-coat Integra™ finish that provides a low-maintenance luster and long-lasting durability to the shutter. Choose from our selection of wood shades, stains, or paint colors to match your décor.
Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ Shutter
The Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ Shutter is made with interior aluminum bracing, resin blocks, and a UV-resistant Polysatin™ material that will not warp, crack, or fade, even in extreme conditions. This makes them an excellent addition for moist or humid environments like bathrooms or kitchens. We call our lifetime guarantee on these poly-material shutters our Palm Beach Promise™. We offer a variety of paint shades and finishes to choose from to compliment your space.
As a bonus, Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ Shutters can be bundled with the PowerView® Automation operating system! The only motorized shutter on the market, these shutters can be maneuvered with the Pebble® remote, your Android or Google smartphone app, or even through voice operation via your smart home system.
NewStyle® Hybrid Shutters
Our NewStyle® Hybrid Shutters combine natural wood with polypropylene to create a durable and functional shutter with great features and options. First, choose from our variety of colors and finishes. The UltraGrain™ finish mimics the look of real hardwood, while the Finetech® Finish mimics the look of painted wood with a low-luster finish and a variety of colors. NewStyle® shutters come in various shapes, including arches, polygonal shapes, round windows, and more. For a high-end finish, these can come with our SoftClose™ Louvers, which are like the “no-slam” feature in custom cabinetry the louvers will close gently and automatically after reaching a specific angle.
